Louder Than The Music

Ben Jack also known to you and I as DJ Galactus Jack has just released his brand new book, The Pursuit. For all who don’t know who Ben is, he has been DJ'ing for about 9 years now after he started out by setting up DJ worship group Aorta, who toured for about 6 years. In that time they released a record called 'Love Hope Future'. 

This last year Galactus Jack released an amazing album 'Reality Bytes', which has became a favorite of ours at LTTM and is one worth checking out. Ben has now put pen to paper to write this new book, The Pursuit.

The book is a wonderful read from cover to cover, each chapter is based around the fruits of the spirit. There are chapters on Love, Joy, Peace, Patience and many more. Ben writes in his own style, his wit coming through during each chapter as though you're just having a casual chat over coffee. The chapter that spoke to me with such a large impact was the chapter on Faithfulness, yet with each fruit of the spirit I drew out something new.

The other element to the book is at the end of each chapter Mr Jack has enlisted some well known friends to add their two pence on the various fruits. With each friend adding a paragraph or two, this is a added extra with insights from Ben Cooley, Shell Perris and ChipK.

Overall a wonderful read for anybody, but primarily this book has a young and edgy feel and flow to it, a clean and straightforward read, that anybody can pick up and enjoy and take something new from.
