Indigenous Christian Artist Solange Legal Releases 'Into the Light'
Solange Legal’s second single, “Into the Light,†is like the next chapter in a gripping story, showing the transition from struggle and darkness to relief and light.
When asked about her singles the artist thoughtfully responded, “I Surrender†came out first because it echoes how God always reveals His desire for a relationship with us first. Then we respond. “Into the Light†echoes our response and the process we go through, each step leading us into God’s light.â€
Since Solange’s first single, “I Surrender,†released in June, the singer/songwriter, who is Metis (Cree, French, and Ojibwe,) pre-released her EP “The Answer†as a limited edition CD and has been attracting and connecting with listeners in over 20 countries. “Into the Light†comes out in time for Canada’s holiday, Truth and Reconciliation Day, on Sept 30 and the United State’s Indigenous Peoples Day which is on Oct 14.
