Louder Than The Music

If Solange Legal’s music releases were a painting, 'You Are,' a praise and worship song, would be like a new colour, adding warmth and dimension.



In the Bible Jesus asks, “Who do people say that I am?” and “Who do you say that I am?” The song “You Are” answers both of these questions, weaving together words of scripture and the artist’s own personal response.

The singer/songwriter said a few words, “To me, “You Are” is a declaration of truth and love. It makes my heart smile and I can’t wait to share it.”

Solange Legal’s music and her work in Indigenous Reconciliation has connected her to a variety of people and communities where she continues to offer her story, her heart, and her music. From travel, to working locally, to giving talks/interviews, to sharing her music, there is always something new.

“Hearing how others connect with my work and music is inspiring and humbling,” said Solange. “I love spending time with people and am truly grateful when the gifts of presence and listening are shared. Actually, it is these gifts, shared in my relationship with God, that bubbled up into the song “You Are.”

“You Are” releases on Nov 3 and will be followed by the release of Solange’s first EP, “The Answer,” in 2025.
