JUTAUN Announces New Album 'The Art of Breaking Through Shadows' with Lead Single 'Where You Are (Yeshua)'
JUTAUN, the dynamic band blending R&B, rock, and pop with inspired messages and powerful harmonies, is thrilled to announce their upcoming album, The Art of Breaking Through Shadows, set for release on January 25, 2025. Featuring 13 deeply resonant tracks, the album showcases the band’s soulful sound, introspective lyrics, and versatile musicality that fans have come to love.
The album’s lead single, “Where You Are (Yeshua),†introduces listeners to JUTAUN’s journey of faith, connection, and resilience, setting the tone for the album’s broader themes. Adding a personal touch, the harmonies on the track feature the voices of the children of band members Jamie Evans, Jake Evans, Samoeun Cheng, Stephen Honsberger, and manager David Still, underscoring the themes of family and love that are central to JUTAUN’s music.
Each track on The Art of Breaking Through Shadows embodies JUTAUN’s commitment to exploring universal emotions and challenges with honesty and faith. Highlights include the anthemic “Higher Love,†a fan favorite with its 80s rock-inspired sound, and “Grateful,†a celebration of love and gratitude inspired by the Grateful Dead and African music. “Grateful†has garnered international radio play and won Best Music Video at NPR-affiliate Delaware Public Radio’s 2024 music awards.
