Andrew Slater Releases New Song 'CPR'
Indie folk/alternative singer-songwriter Andrew Slater from New Castle, Pennsylvania, has released a new song called "CPR", available now on all streaming platforms. "CPR" is the first release towards an upcoming LP later in 2025.
"This song was written from the point of being in a seemingly hopeless situation and reaching out for help", explains Andrew. "I wrote the song on piano in a sort of therapeutic session. I liked featuring finger style acoustic guitar and my band added bass and hand percussion. The track features the whistling of a winter storm on the Great Lakes in the intro and outro.
Over the last three years I have performed with my band (Andrew Slater and the Wickies) throughout the PA and Ohio Region, and was featured at Federal Frenzy, Porchrokr and Millvale Music Festivals. Some of my influences include Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and Johnny Cash."
