With nearly 37 years in the music industry and 21 years in ministry, Jerry “J5” Wright has cultivated a multifaceted career that spans entertainment, education, and personal transformation. His decade of experience in the entertainment industry includes acting in the 2014 blockbuster The Remaining and appearing on the hit TV series Lizard Lick Towing that same year. A proud graduate of North Carolina Central University (NCCU), an esteemed HBCU, he holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts with a concentration in visual communications.

Wright’s journey is as authentic as his artistry. For eight years, he worked as a truck driver while simultaneously honing his musical craft. Initially, he set out to be a songwriter for hire, but he soon realized that the best way to inspire others was to embody the music himself. He understood that to make people believe, he had to be the living example-showcasing his own passion for the art he creates.

Through hard work, sincerity, and unwavering commitment, Wright has built a brand that fuses spirituality with romantic lyricism, crafting music designed to create an atmosphere of intimacy.
