New Wine Worship Release New Anthem 'Praise King Jesus' - A Bold Declaration for the Church and the Nations

May 22 2025

New Wine Worship return with a fresh, faith-filled anthem Praise King Jesus - a powerful congregational worship song written to lift the name of Jesus across the UK and beyond. Bursting with energy and rooted in deep truth, this is the first track from their upcoming studio EP, So Good, and has already been sung in churches, conferences, and worship nights across the nation.

Birthed in the heart of the local church, Praise King Jesus was co-written by Joe Hardy, Nick Herbert, Jonny & Sarah Bird and produced by Jonny Bird. It’s a song written for this moment, a response to what God is stirring across the UK in this season. “We’ve spent the last year travelling to cities, venues, and events across the country, and this song is a reflection of what we’ve seen God doing,” says Joe. “It’s a bold, joyful prayer of praise and a rallying cry for the Church.”

This release follows a strong season for New Wine Worship. Their recent EP It Was You featured the track Peace Be With You, which landed on editorial playlists across Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Their live album Who Else But Jesus, recorded at the New Wine Festival, has gained traction across churches. Alongside these releases, their Song Stories podcast has helped deepen listener connection and grow their platform, with increased engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and live events.

The new single arrives during a nationwide tour of worship nights and will be championed at New Wine’s summer festival of 15,000 people, with resources distributed to encourage churches to adopt the song. We are excited to see the heart cry of Praise King Jesus rise across the nations and generations.
