Hopestream Worship Release 'My Safe Place' Featuring Luke Wareham

Oct 07 2025

Luke Wareham and Hopestream Worship collaborate again on this powerful new worship song. My Safe Place was written at the New Wine Worship Leader’s Retreat 2025 by Sue Crossman, Polly Axford-Checkley, Luke Wareham, Tiia Mutanen.

Sue says, "The song is based on Psalm 84 and its heart is that we can rest in the safety of an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. In all that we face in this life, every circumstance, God can be our Safe Place. Dwelling with Him, even for one day is better than dwelling a thousand anywhere else!"

The animated Youtube video beautifully shows a little sparrow on a long journey. The little bird flies over rivers and cities to its Safe Place: held in the hands of God.

Hopestream Worship will be sharing the song as they lead worship at a Student Welcome and Worship Night at Bath Abbey later this month.
