Jon Reddick Celebrates Not One But TWO RIAA Gold Singles
Gotee Records celebrates a milestone moment as worship leader and songwriter Jon Reddick earns his first two RIAA Gold certifications for his impactful singles, 'God, Turn It Around' and 'I Believe It (The Life of Jesus).' The achievement underscores Reddick’s growing impact in churches and worship communities across the country as his music continues to resonate worldwide. He was surprised by the certifications at his No. 1 Radio celebration for "No Fear" at his label Gotee Records.
“Every song is an important one, but the ones that connect and create engagement are always memorable and fun to be a part of,” says Joey Elwood, co-founder of Gotee Records and CEO of Bell Partners Christian Music. “When we first started Gotee, I’m not sure we truly knew how hard it was to achieve ‘Gold’ status on songs or albums, but I do not take these moments for granted these days. Having two go ‘Gold’ simultaneously is something I don’t think I’ve ever celebrated, and it speaks to how deeply the songs Jon writes and performs are connecting with listeners and congregations everywhere. Love that people are hearing Jon’s ‘voice’ and they’re saying yes.”
This fall, Reddick has been on tour with CAIN, and in December, he will join Phil Wickham on select Christmas tour dates. He will also release a festive remake of the holiday classic “Winter Wonderland” this month.
The Gold celebration comes on the heels of significant momentum surrounding Reddick’s newest album, No Fear, released in May. Anchored by the hit title track, now Reddick’s first No. 1 radio single, “No Fear” spent ten consecutive weeks at the top of radio charts and continues to serve as an anthem of courage and reliance on Jesus. His current radio single, “The Way,” is already resonating with listeners, earning a spot in the Top 25.
No Fear reflects Reddick’s heart for the church, offering songs of hope and perseverance rooted in the belief that God meets us in our trials rather than removing them. “Fear is at the crux of the brokenness of our world,” says Reddick of his album. “Through Jesus, we don’t escape fear-we walk through it. God is over our lives, so we can move forward with no fear.”
