They now release the Worthy Is the Lord EP, a new collection of songs captured live at Seek First — KXC’s weekly worship and prayer night. As the church shares, “Over the last few years, we’ve been discovering the power of making space to worship God and to pray for what we sense is on His heart.”
This EP does exactly that. It sounds like a room full of worshippers giving everything they have — unpolished, wholehearted, and deeply focused on God through song.
The album hits the road running with the spontaneous live moment “Tehillah.” There’s no slow build-up; instead, you’re immediately drawn into a beautiful outpouring of spontaneous praise. This then flows seamlessly into an a cappella transition of “The Lord Is Here,” with voices united in the declaration, “Oh Jesus, lead us to the Father, by Your Spirit open our eyes.”
It’s a deeply tender moment, something truly special, as the song resists any sense of rush and settles into a gentle yet powerful expression of worship.
We all have those moments when we’re stopped in our tracks - when a song reaches straight into the soul and the heart. For me, that moment on this EP comes with “I Believe.” It’s a worship song of the highest quality, overflowing with energy and excitement that carries so clearly in the recording. There’s a genuine sense of joy and passionate outpouring that feels impossible to ignore.
What I especially love about this release is the space it allows. The songs are unhurried, given room to breathe and to become places where people can truly worship. It feels like a pure and unique musical worship moment has been captured, particularly in the closing tracks “Worthy Is the Lord” and its (Reprise). This extended, spontaneous expression flows naturally from the song itself and brings the EP to a close with reverence, honour, and a deep sense of devotion before God.
'I BELIEVE' is a riotously joyful, upbeat anthem that celebrates trusting in God. Recorded live during Seek First, KXC's weekly worship and prayer gathering, this song captures the sound of a community coming alive in…
