“I wrote ‘In Other Words’ to help us remember that we humans are all basically the same, no matter who you are,” said Mitch McVicker. “It’s easy to be at church and sometimes think we’re in some kind of better-than group - like we’re part of an elite club.

“If we take Jesus at His word in the Sermon on the Mount, we’re faced with the fact that every single one of us has moments where we choose our own desires over the desires of a loving God, in so many different ways. Grace speaks loud and clear: we are still chosen by a loving God - every single one of us. So we should stop judging others who sin differently than we do.”
