Louder Than The Music

Christian recording artist Scott Riggan is bringing fresh energy to the Christmas season with O Holy Night, a five-song EP arriving today through NRT Music. Led by a vibrant new recording of the beloved title track, the collection also revisits four seasonal favorites from Riggan's catalog, offering a blend of joyful celebration and quiet reflection.

Rather than following the traditional ballad approach, Riggan transforms "O Holy Night" into an upbeat pop anthem filled with chiming guitars, driving piano, soaring vocals, and shimmering harmonies. Produced alongside Jason Collum, the recording captures the excitement of Christmas without losing the wonder and spiritual significance of the timeless carol.

"I love this song, but I didn't want to make the version everyone has heard a hundred times," Riggan shares. "There's something about the words of 'O Holy Night' that calls for wonder and celebration. I wanted the music to feel like that–to sound like Christmas has actually arrived."

Rounding out the EP are "Bethlehem (Unplugged)," "Come To Us (O Little Town)" featuring Jaime Thietten, "Joy To The World," and "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming." Together, the five recordings celebrate the hope, beauty, and joy of Christ's birth while giving listeners a fresh opportunity to discover some of Riggan's favorite Christmas recordings.

The release follows Riggan's recent full-length album, Shepherds and Wolves, a deeply personal project exploring faith, grief, grace, and healing. Where that album wrestles with life's difficult questions, O Holy Night turns toward the hope and celebration at the heart of the Christmas story.

A veteran independent Christian artist and worship pastor, Riggan has earned a No. 1 Christian radio hit, multiple Top 20 singles, and recognition from the GMA Dove Awards and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Now part of the NRT Music roster, he continues to connect with audiences through honest songwriting, memorable melodies, and a career spanning four continents.

O Holy Night is available now on all major digital streaming platforms.
