Tiffany Hudson Releases New Song 'Room', with New Album 'When You're In The Room' Coming This Summer
Worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist Tiffany Hudson (Elevation Worship, ELEVATION RHYTHM) releases her new song, “Room,” featuring John Wilds, offering listeners another glimpse into her forthcoming live worship project arriving this summer. “Room” is available now on all streaming platforms.
Co-written by Tiffany Hudson, Steven Furtick, Chandler Moore, and Benjamin William Hastings, “Room” captures the reverence and awe that fills the atmosphere when worshipers fix their eyes on Christ. Inspired by the throne-room imagery in Revelation, the song centers on a simple yet powerful declaration: when Jesus is present, nothing else matters.
“Room” is the newest single from Hudson’s upcoming live worship album, When You’re In The Room, a project born out of extended nights of worship and prayer at Elevation Church. “There’s no clock, no real agenda,” Hudson says of the gatherings that inspired the album. “We’re just creating space for our community to encounter the Lord.”
The release follows Hudson’s spring single “Jesus The Only” featuring Davide Mutendji, a bold declaration of faith co-written by Hudson, Mutendji, and Hannah Cheshire. Together, the songs introduce a deeply personal worship project shaped by extended nights of prayer and worship at Elevation Church known as “Presence Nights.”
Designed to remove distractions, Presence Nights center around a cross placed in the middle of the room, drawing every eye toward Jesus. Those nights ultimately became the foundation for the new live project. Instead of recording in a traditional studio environment, Hudson chose to capture the songs within the authentic atmosphere where they first came to life.
