Louder Than The Music

Summer is heating up, and so is Rusty Shipp with their new single, “On The Docks,” a sun-soaked Christian rock anthem that pairs bright coastal vibes with a powerful message about conscience and compassion in the midst of life's daily struggles. It's the perfect song for Christian Rock and Christian Alternative radio this summer!

Driven by shimmering guitars and the band’s signature maritime sound, “On The Docks” explores the tension between survival and morality through the eyes of fishermen just trying to provide for their families. The song challenges listeners to look beyond quick judgments and consider the circumstances that shape people’s choices.

Drawing inspiration from Romans 2 and other biblical themes, the lyrics point to the idea that God’s law is written on the human heart and remind listeners that every person ultimately answers to God, not to one another.

“We wanted to create a song that feels like summer on the waterfront, while also encouraging people to think more deeply about grace, judgment, and what truly gives life meaning,” says Capt. Russ T Shipp.
