Canadian worship collective HOMECOMING is bringing listeners into the room with its new release, "beauty & love (live in michi)," recorded live at SpringHill Youth Camp in Evart, Michigan. The two-track release features an energetic, extended live version of "beauty & love" alongside a spontaneous worship moment captured during the same night.



Originally released as a reflection on the nearness and faithfulness of God, "beauty & love" has become one of HOMECOMING's biggest worship songs of the past year. The new live recording expands on the song's message while capturing the voices and energy of a room filled with young people worshiping together.

Written by Bryce Lefebvre and produced by Canyon Lewis, "beauty & love" carries a psalm-like simplicity, echoing Scripture through declarations of God's constant presence. From the opening question, "Where could I go from Your presence?" to the repeated chorus declaring, "Your beauty and love chase after me / Every day of my life," the song points listeners toward a God who is closer than they often realize.

That message takes on new life in the Michigan recording.

Rather than simply recreating the studio version, HOMECOMING allows the song room to breathe, stretching the worship moment beyond its original structure and capturing the communal experience that has become central to the band's ministry. The additional spontaneous worship track continues that moment, preserving an unscripted expression of worship that emerged naturally during the night.

Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, HOMECOMING was formed by a group of musicians whose own faith and musical development were deeply shaped by church youth groups. Over the past several years, the band has traveled throughout British Columbia and beyond, witnessing what they describe as a growing hunger among young people for authentic worship and spiritual renewal.

That experience has helped shape HOMECOMING's mission: to create a fresh voice in worship music for Canadian youth while writing songs capable of traveling far beyond their home country.
