“Heavy Doors” was born from a simple prayer from Emily’s heart after the tragic loss of her mentor and close friend. Faced with uncertainty about her future, she began asking God to “open the heavy doors.”

Emily Cupelli is a singer-songwriter whose music blends contemporary Christian, country, and pop. She spent years touring and collaborating with some of Nashville’s most notable artists, until stepping away to focus on raising three little boys and to work as the Worship Director at a large church.
Emily’s songs have been recorded by legendary names in music, including Dolly Parton and Vince Gill. She has opened for Ellie Holcomb, Laura Story, and country music artist, Pam Tillis.
In 2025, after the tragic death of the church’s Senior Minister, who was her mentor and close friend, Emily felt God calling her back into her artistry full-time. She began to pray for God to “open heavy doors” and he responded with opportunities beyond what she could have have imagined. Emily recently finished recording a 12-song Christian album that is a testimony of God’s faithfulness over the past two years.
