It's Your Love
Love, it's an amazing thing, it can make you do crazy things, it's a feeling to drive you to make a difference then on the other hand it's always nice to be loved by someone. There is something special when you ï¬nd someone who cares for you and wants the best for you. There is so much more I could say about Love and what it means on an earthly level, yet when you grasp the Love of God and what he has done for you, it makes you just want to worship Him.
Songs about God's Love have been around for years. Some truly inspirational songs have graced the church, songs that we can sing out loud and proud. Some are about God's Love for us and what He has done, the other side of the coin are songs about our Love for God, both sound very similar but have big differences.
It's Your Love is a 14 track compilation of songs around the theme of Love. The album opens with a live version of the Al Gordon track Because Of Your Love, the uplifting fast paced worship song kicks off the album with real meaning. The worship continues into a live version of Trent's Unfailing Love, two brilliant tracks to start this compilation.
One of the tracks that really captured my attention was the title track It's Your Love by the talented Luke Finch, who sings "It's Your Love, It's Your Love, It's Your Love that sets me free". I don't think I knew this track before hearing it on here, but it's a truly stunning song that spoke to me from a very talented songwriter.
The album includes two of the most covered worship songs of the last few years, How He Loves and You're Beautiful, two great songs, two songs I use a lot when I lead worship in my local church. If there are two songs that lyrically show God's Love and our Love for Him, these are two of the best around at the moment.
As a collection of songs, there isn't much better around at the moment. Having them all about the topic of such an amazing subject, I couldn't think of better songs to use in my time of worship to express my Love for God.
It's Your Love has 14 inspirational songs in praise of love to our God who deserves everything, our worship, our time, our effort and much much more. What God is looking for on a daily basis is for us to love him. Why? Because He ï¬rst loved us.
