Louder Than The Music

Northern Ireland worship band Bluetree have started work on their new album. The band are currently spending a week rehearsing in their home city of Belfast, before heading to Liverpool to spend the next two weeks recording the new album at Parr Street Studios, where Coldplay famously recorded their first three albums. The new album is expected to be released in September 2011.

Bluetree shot to fame when their song 'God Of This City' was covered by artists such as Chris Tomlin and American Idol winner Kris Allen. The band recently appeared in the 'Banned in Burma' DVD released by Christian Freedom International featuring the band's trip to Burma's frontlines with CFI.

Last year the band released a live CD titled 'Live At Exchange Church', recorded at their home church, Exchange Church in Belfast. Bluetree will be performing at a number of events in Canada and the USA during the coming months, including the YC Manitoba event on 29th April 2011, PAOC Conference in Edmonton in May, YC Alberta at the end of May, and Super Summer Camp Oklahoma in July.
