Louder Than The Music

Melodic rockers Hyland will release their debut album 'Weights & Measures' on 3rd May 2011, produced by Aaron Sprinkle. Described as one of Tooth & Nail Records' most promising new signings, Hyland has been quickly making a name for itself in its home city of Minneapolis and beyond, and was named one of Alternative Press' 100 bands to watch this year.

"Armed with a veritable arsenal of inventive hooks and inspired melodies, a relatable, everyman take on everything from God to girls and the tireless work ethic Midwesterners are known for, Hyland is about to make its mark on an even grander scale with Weights & Measures, the band's first full-length release", says Tooth & Nail.

Comprised of frontman Jon Lewis, guitarist Mitch Hansen, keyboardist Ben Early and drummer Steve Weigel, Hyland serves up eclectic anthems reminiscent of Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World and Anberlin. Following their release, Hyland will hit the road on the Mother May I tour with Abandon Kansas and Wavorly starting on 13th May and continuing through until 4th June.
