Scottish rockers Superhero will release their fifth studio album in November 2011, preceded by a single and supported by a UK tour. The new album will be the follow up to their 2009 release 'The Bicycle Thieves' which received acclaim around the world.

"This week we are spending a few days working on our new record, due for release in the UK in November", said the band. "We are crazy excited about the new songs and we're taking our time with it all, making sure we do them justice. We will release a single a few months before the album release, with a video. It will be available on iTunes and other download sites."

Superhero are continuing their 'Battle For Your Soul' Tour in the US this month, returning to the US again in October before commencing the UK Tour in November, with support from former thebandwithnoname singer Chip Kendall. "Our summer is looking busy with trips to the USA, Czech Republic, Belgium etc but really we are focusing on the new record and our big November UK Tour", explains Superhero. "These are exciting times for us. Our 'Battle for your Soul' Tour is reaping a great harvest of souls and we are feeling inspired on so many fronts, especially musically."
