Rend Collective Experiment Begin Recording Second Album
Innovative worship band Rend Collective Experiment from Northern Ireland have begun recording their second album. The band are working with engineer Sam Gibson (Hillsong United, Delirious?, Pearl Jam, Crowded House) at their makeshift studio in a church in Bangor, with the album expected to be released in early 2012.
Writing on their Twitter page, the band said "You know what this means friends... The start of album number 2! Gareth had started recording drums on album 2... we will be finished tracking the instruments by end of July", before adding "we are working for an early 2012 release!"
Rend released their debut full length album 'Organic Family Hymnal' in January 2010 and have been making waves around the world with their exciting brand of authentic worship music. Earlier this year the band accompanied US worship leader Chris Tomlin on his 30-city major US Tour.
