Jonathan Veira Returns With New Album 'Travelling Songs'

Aug 17 2011

World renowned vocalist Jonathan Veira returns with a new album of inspirational cross-over songs titled 'Travelling Songs', to be released on 10th September 2011. Described as 'one of the most enduring voices of our time' Jonathan has established a strong reputation over the last 26 years, singing to millions across the UK and the rest of the world, and regularly appearing on television and radio.

"Travelling songs sees Jonathan continue his musical journey, exploring his roots and inspirations, and returning a project of profound power, sublime quality and perfect pitch", says Elevation. "It's an album about our journeys, both spiritual and in time, an album tempered by life's rich tapesty of joy and reflection, delivered with swathes of sincerity and the occasional rye smile."

In 2010 Jonathan released 'You Raise Me Up' featuring covers of contemporary classics and new versions of favourite hymns. The singer has appeared on the BBC Songs Of Praise on many occasions and performed at Big Church Day Out this year and in previous years at Spring Harvest, New Wine, Detling and Keswick.
