Louder Than The Music

From Grammy Award winners Mary Mary and UK MOBO champ Jahaziel to X Factor Finalist Rachel Hylton, next month's Oraclez Gospel Festival is already being described as the most anticipated Gospel music event ever to hit these shores.Pure Genius Entertainments and UK Base Promotions present 'Oraclez' the World Gospel Festival & Award Ceremony.

With more performers than you can shake a stick at, Pure Genius Entertainment have spent the last year putting together a value-packed night, with RnB and hip hop acts from both sides of the Atlantic including Kirk Franklin, Ce-Ce Winans and many many more.
Managing Director, Valerie McBean said: "We were keen to put together an event which would unite some of the best gospel acts under one roof and are hoping people will be uplifted by the soulful music and vibe of the night".

One of the most recognisable and commercially successful acts on the bill is the duo Mary Mary, who are looking forward to performing in London with so many of their contemporaries. Sisters, Erica and Tina Atkins whose first single "Shackles" (Praise You) was a Top 10 hit in the U.K charts, say they "just wanted to use [their] music to share the good news!" and have managed to do just that. Winning a slew of awards from a Soul Train gong to multiple Grammies, they have been an extremely successful contemporary gospel act.

Also shining on the Oraclez bill is songstress Kelly Price. Having previously appeared on hit singles from Mariah Carey, Faith Evans, Whitney Houston and R Kelly, she has become a star in her own right thanks to her soulful and emotional style.
But it's not just a US invasion, in addition to those mentioned, gracing the stage will be a slew of homegrown acts including 2007 MOBO award winner Jahaziel, a hip hop artist who has featured on tracks with artists such as Lemar and Craig David. Regularly working with young people and charities to inspire and help his community, Jahaziel manages to deal with real issues and delivers powerful messages with positive, thought-provoking music.
Joining him will be X Factor Finalist Rachel Hylton, whose difficult background and determination to change her life, is already well known. These historical and thrilling performances should not be missed.

But it doesn't end there. Also appearing on the night will be the highly acclaimed Martha Munizzi Jamaican songstress Chevelle Franklyn, Ann Nesby, formerly of the hugely successful Sounds of Blackness, Coko formerly of R&B group SWV and more .
Michael Rochelle Marketing Manager of Pure Genius Entertainment: says, "It's definitely going to be a night to remember, whether you're a Christian or simply someone who enjoys positive soulful music, you will be uplifted and rejuvenated."
