Third Day To Offer Free 4-Song Live Sampler EP & Make Concerts Available For Download
Popular rock band Third Day have announced plans to give away a four-song 'Third Day Live Sampler' EP for free next month as they prepare to make every one of their forthcoming concerts available as a digital download from their website. The free sample will include a favorite live performance from from each of the band members and will only be available from 1st to 15th March 2012.
"As many of you know, we are always looking to improve our fan's experience and come up with new ways to continue to connect with you", explained the multi-platinum selling band in a message to fans. "Years ago, we had the idea to start recording all of our concerts. Then we thought, 'We should share these recordings with people.' So, we started streaming the shows on our website.
The one down side to that was that you had to be connected to the internet to be able to listen and could not take the recording with you to listen whenever you want. Well, after lots of work we are excited to tell you that for the spring tour, you will be able to purchase each night's concert as a digital download on our website!"
The band kick of their 'Make Your Move Spring Tour 2012', featuring Matt Maher and Trevor Morgan, on 15th March in Wheeling, West Virginia, continuing through until May. During their career Third Day have achieved 25 Number 1 singles and won numerous awards including American Music Awards, Grammy Awards and Dove Awards. In 2010 they released their eleventh studio album 'Move'.
