Keith & Kristyn Getty Joined By Stuart Townend For UK Tour
Modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty will be joined by worship leader Stuart Townend for their 'Celtic Islands Tour 2012' of the UK, kicking off this May. The nine date tour begins at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool on 30th May before moving to Belfast in Northern Ireland for two dates at the Waterfront Hall.
The tour then crosses the border into Ireland for a show in Londonderry, before heading to Scotland for dates in Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, with a date in Gateshead, England, in the middle.
Keith and Kristyn Getty, known for writing popular modern worship hymns like 'In Christ Alone', 'The Power of the Cross' and 'By Faith', will be joined by special guests Stuart Townend and the New Scottish Choir and Orchestra for the tour. Originally from Northern Ireland but currently living in the United States, the Gettys' programme fuses the music of their Irish heritage with the sounds of Nashville, their newly adopted home.
