Spring Harvest 2012 Announces Two New Worship Albums
With the UK's 2012 Spring Harvest conference kicking off next week, two new albums have been announced. 'Fresh: New Songs For The Church' features 22 songs taken from the 2012 Spring Harvest songbook designed to inspire the church, whilst the annual Spring Harvest live album, this year titled 'Live Worship Actually' based on the conference's theme 'Church Actually', will be released on 10th July after being recorded at this year's Big Top celebrations.
'Live Worship Actually' will feature this year's Spring Harvest worship leaders, which includes Vicky Beeching, Mark Beswick, Pete James and Geraldine Latty. Other bands and artists set to perform at Spring Harvest 2012, which takes place from 31st March to 15th April in Minehead and 10th to 15th April in Skegness, include Phatfish, Lifecolour, Phillipa Hanna, The Steels, Tom & Olly, Trent, Yazz and Paul Bell.
'Fresh: New Songs For The Church' features 12 songs described as "dressed to impress... with explosive beats, soaring guitars and dynamic vocals", whilst the remaining 10 tracks are stripped down with a more acoustic feel. The album includes current worship favourites such as '10,000 Reasons', 'You Never Give Up On Us' and 'One Thing Remains'.
