Louder Than The Music

Former DCTalk singer Kevin Max has released a five-track EP free on NoiseTrade as an companion to his forthcoming fantasy franchise. 'Fiefdom of Angels' is a novel written by Max in early 2011, describing the origins of the angelic race and the ultimate war in Heaven. The soundtrack is in two parts, starting with Side One, including covers of bands ranging from Depeche Mode to The Walker Brothers, as well as original songs written by Max. All of the songs were handpicked to coincide with characters and plot lines within the story.

"As 1/3 of dctalk and one of the most influential vocalists of the christian music scene in the 1990's, Kevin Max has cut a wide and varied swath across the world of music" says NoiseTrade. "Garnering 4 Grammy awards, 16 Dove's and several other notables with dctalk and as a solo artist, he set the bar high early on in his career. The word Renaissance comes to mind, and with his latest project the burgeoning novel/graphic novel/soundtrack opus 'Fiefdom of Angels' he continues to extend his reach into the unknown."

The second five song EP, Side Two, is expected by the end of May and will include covers by Depeche Mode, Portishead, David Bowie and more.
