Chris Tomlin Begins Recording New Studio Album
Renowned worship leader and songwriter Chris Tomlin goes into the studio this week to begin recording his new album. The album will be the follow up to his 2010 studio album, 'And If Our God Is for Us...' which won Chris his first ever Grammy Award this year in the category of Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.
"Today begins recording of our new record. Not gonna stop til its right. Gonna give God our best!" Tomlin wrote on Twitter earlier this week. He will be working on the album in Atlanta with award winning producer and songwriter Jason Ingram.
Last year Chris released his first greatest hits album, 'How Great Is Our God: The Essential Collection'. The worship leader has been referred to by Time Magazine as the "most often sung artist anywhere", with over 40 million people estimated to be singing his songs each week in church congregations worldwide.
