Second Free Download Single 'Happy God' For Ian Yates

Apr 17 2012

The second single from British worship leader Ian Yates, titled 'Happy God', has now been released as a free download from 7coremusic. Released ahead of Ian's forthcoming new studio album, 'Good News', due in June 2012, the single follows the first song download, 'With Love', which is still available as a free download on Louder Than The Music (download below).

'Good News' is produced and mixed by Trevor Michael (Delirious?, Trent, Phatfish) who also produced Ian's previous album 'The Hope And The Glory' (2010). Ian has revealed that the new album features a guest appearance from former Delirious guitarist and One Sonic Society band member Stu G. "We've been hugely blessed to have Stu G play guitar on six of the album tracks! Sounds amazing - we are so happy!" says Ian.

Explaining the concept of the album, Ian continues, "The news is full of bad and negative reports. But I believe there is some good news, in-fact this good news is so good many could say its too good to be true. The Jews said it was a scandal and the Greeks said it was absurd, nonsense (1 Corinthians 1:23). But I say it is the the glad message of the glory of the Happy God (1 Tim 1:11)"
