Tim Hughes, Hillsong London & Jesus House Choir For Earls Court Pentecost Festival
As part of the UK's Pentecost Festival 2012, a special worship celebration will be held at London's Earls Court on 18th May featuring Tim Hughes, Hillsong London and the Jesus House Choir. There will also be prayer, speaking and ministry lead by Pastor Agu Irukwu from Jesus House, Gary Clarke from Hillsong London and Nicky Gumbel from Holy Trinity Brompton.
A similar event was held at a full capacity O2 Arena as part of last year's festival, and once again a whole range of events and activities will be taking place across the capital during the festival.
"Pentecost is regarded as the historical birthday of the Church, and commemorates the gift of the Holy Spirit, who Jesus promised He would send to us", explain the organisers. "The Pentecost event on Friday, May 18th is a celebration of these things. It is hosted by three London churches - HTB, Jesus House and Hillsong London and is open to everyone from every church."
