Big Church Day Out 'Sold Out'
The Big Church Day Out event, taking place at Wiston House, West Sussex on May 24th, has now completely sold out. "We have a capacity crowd of 14,000 and are expecting a great day" say organisers who have been working tirelessly to put together an impressive programme of events and bands for the event.
The organisers are keen to stress that people should not turn up without a ticket: "All tickets have now been sold and there will be no admittance to The Big Church Day Out unless you are in possession of a ticket. Please spread the word to all your friends to avoid any disappointment for people who may turn up hoping to get in on the day. Regrettably they will be turned away."
The band line up, across the two music stages, looks set to impress all music fans. The Mainstage will be hosted by Pete Greig with a focus on Worship and Celebration. Artists appearing will be Yfriday, Graham Kendrick, Israel Houghton, Michael W Smith plus one of the last ever UK performances by Delirious. There will also be a few words shared by Steve Chalke (Oasis) and Jamie Haith (Alpha).
Artists now booked for the B stage include Kairos, Premier Radios' "Live & Unsigned" Competition Winner, Tom & Olly, New Direction Crew and Audacious. The United double decker bus will be parked up alongside as somewhere to hang out.
There will also be a guest appearance by Olympic Gold Medallist Sally Gunnell who will be taking part in a fun run across the park for children of all ages-whether 5 or 45!
The location, the beautiful country home of Wiston House in West Sussex, will be the perfect backdrop for a perfect family day out, featuring country walks in the extensive grounds.
Breaking News: Michael W Smith, Israel Houghton, StuG, Martin Smith and Graham Kendrick will be making a special performance of the CompassionArt song "So Great" at the BCDO.
If you haven't got a ticket for the Big Church Day Out, don't worry, LTTM will be bringing you all the news and stories from the event next week.
