Casting Crowns Announce New Album 'The Acoustic Sessions: Vol 1'
Worship band Casting Crowns have revealed plans to release a new album in January. 'The Acoustic Sessions: Volume 1' features 8 new versions of favourite Casting Crowns songs plus 2 brand new songs, and will be available from 22nd January 2013.
The band say the new album is "inspired in part by the acoustic medley portion of the Come To The Well Tour. Experience some of your favorite Casting Crowns songs in a fresh way on the new album."
New songs 'Delivered' and 'Only You Can Satisfy' sit alongside established tracks like 'Praise You In This Storm' and 'Set Me Free'.
The band's latest studio album 'Come To The Well', released in October 2011, recently became their sixth album to receive Gold certification after selling more than 500,000 units. In August Casting Crowns received a rare double Platinum certification by the RIAA for its 2005, self-titled debut.
