Philippa Hanna's Kickstarter Campaign Reaches Target For 'Through The Woods'

Feb 08 2013

British singer/songwriter Philippa Hanna has revealed that the Kickstarter campaign for her new album, 'Through The Woods', has exceeded its target of £10,000 with five days remaining.

"On behalf of Philippa, we would like to extend a massive thank you to everybody who has pledged so far", said Storm 5 Management.

"The campaign has seen fans and media from all corners of the UK engaging with the singer, with a series of photographs sweeping social networks proclaiming 'I'm supporting Philippa because...'"

"Though her target may have been reached, there is still time to join Philippa on her journey, and help share a message of hope and self-worth with the world.

The exclusive rewards for backers are still available: they can secure a hand-written lyric sheet, a vocal masterclass with Philippa herself or the chance to appear on the album by pledging now. In the time remaining, additional prizes are also being offered to one backer every day."

The Sheffield-based songwriter plans to release 'Through The Woods' on 8th April 2013. As well as touring extensively throughout the Spring, Philippa Hanna has been confirmed for the mainstage of the Big Church Day Out on 25th May, alongside Hillsong Live, Jars of Clay and Stuart Townend.

The Kickstarter campaign continues to run until Tuesday evening, 12th February.
