Bethel Music To Release Studio Album 'Tides' In September
Bethel Music will release their first ever studio album 'Tides' on 3rd September 2013. The album includes the track 'For The Cross' by Bethel worship leaders Brian Johnson & Jenn Johnson, and also features Jeremy Riddle.
Written during a season of change and transition, 'Tides' tells a story of moving forward and overcoming the unknown with God. The album paints a sonic landscape that is colorful, progressive, and at times explosive; drawing heavily on analog synths, sweeping guitars, and pulsing rhythms.
Brian Johnson's opening track 'Strong In Us' comes crashing in as a powerful declaration of God's victory that is alive in us. 'Heaven's Song' by Jeremy Riddle depicts creation's refrain to the Lord, capturing listeners through its melodic layers and intricate undercurrents.
Energetic tracks such as Jenn Johnson's 'Chasing You' lift the album with vibrant lyrics, highlighting the adventure of pursuing God. The album's crafted anthems revive in us the timelessness and freshness of God's word, His presence, and His plan.
Bethel's worship leaders will undertake their second Bethel Music US Tour this September when they perform at 8 cities on the West Coast for their Tides Tour from 5th to 13th September.
