Philippa Hanna Confirms 'Through The Woods' UK Tour

Jan 20 2014

Philippa Hanna is taking her latest album 'Through The Woods' on a UK tour over the next two months.

Kicking off in her home city of Sheffield on 1st February, the 13 date tour continues through until late March 2014 (see dates below) performing at churches throughout the country.

Following what Philippa describes as "an unforgettable 2013", which saw her join Wet Wet Wet on their UK arena tour, the talented singer/songwriter headlines her own tour in 2014 in support of her critically acclaimed release 'Through The Woods'.

In a recent interview with LTTM, Philippa said, "The new album is a collections of songs from a journey. A journey through dark places and into the light. I've been really inspired by story and fairytale themes. I wanted to inject some strong imagery into the songs to help convey meaning."

Last year also saw Philippa perform on the Big Church Night In Tour with legendary hymn writer and folk artist Stuart Townend. Prior to that she had a support slot on soul legend Lionel Richie's UK tour in 2012.
