Phatfish Prepare To Take The Stage For The Last Time

Mar 12 2014

British worship band Phatfish will be taking to the stage for the last time ever this weekend. After 20 years together, the group will perform their final show at Wessex Christian Centre in Bournemouth on 14th and 15th March 2014.

"Despite the sadness of the occasion, we're pretty excited about what's in store", explained the band. "Preparing for the gigs has given us an opportunity to look back on twenty amazing years of music and ministry together. So we're delighted that original Phatfish guitarist Mike Blow will be joining us on stage for some songs, as will Alan Rose, who was our guitarist between 1998 and 2003.

It promises to be a memorable couple of evenings, with the set including some songs that haven't been heard for a while and an extended worship time where we intend to give all the glory to our Heavenly Father."

Phatfish will be recording their final shows for a live album which will become their last release.

Fronted by singer Lou Fellingham, Phatfish released their last studio album , 'Higher', in October 2011. The Brighton based band are best known for worship classics including 'Holy, Holy (Lift Up His Name)', 'There is a Day' and '(Looking In The Sky) Amazing God'.
