Graham Kendrick & Philippa Hanna Join For The Storytellers UK Tour
British singer/songwriter Philippa Hanna will be joining respected British worship leader Graham Kendrick on The Storytellers Tour around the UK this April and May.
The Storyteller tour brings together two songwriters who have a gift for turning stories into songs. For Philippa Hanna it is her own story of faith and that of friends she has met along the way, for Graham it is songs inspired by characters and events clustered around the dramatic events of Jesus life.
"I have always had a passion to tell the Jesus story through songs, in fact I was doing that for years before I wrote and recorded praise and worship songs, and a particular feature of those songs is how they dramatise characters and scenes from the Gospels", says Graham. "I want the audience to step into the story, to feel the drama and atmosphere of those world-changing events and to encounter the Jesus of today."
"I love how Jesus spoke in parables", adds Philippa. "I love the way you can wrap Gods truth up in images and metaphors. I was brought up on country music so I love the way a song can paint a picture. That, plus my own story of coming to faith is what you can expect from me!"
