Review: Hillsong -Ultimate Collection Volume II
There has been enough people over the last few years giving their opinion on Hillsong, Hillsong United and their albums. The Church and youth church release an album nearly every 6 months with most of the songs ending up being sung in our local churches across the world every week.
This album "Hillsong - Ultimate Collection Volume II" was released in 2008 and thought I would give it a very quick review. With 17 tracks from many previous albums by Hillsong, basically this is a collection of the best they have recorded over the years. Having studied the track-listing there seem to be more Hillsong United tracks on here, which in my opinion is a very good thing, from Salvation Is Here to Mighty To Save to The Stand.
While thinking about there being a lot of Hillsong United tracks on Volume II of the collection, so I decided to look at the first Volume to see its track-listing, and from what I can see, that album has a much older feel to the choices of songs with and less younger Hillsong United tracks on it (perfect if you like that).
As an album with the songs that it does have, it's an amazing collection of songs. And if you have never heard Hillsong United and don't have any of their albums, this is the prefect album before you get their latest "Tear Down The Walls". But if you have got the majority of Hillsong United albums, don't bother with this, you will already have the versions on other CD's.
Look at this amazing Hillsong Collection as a "Get to Know Hillsong United" album.
