Rebecca St. James Book, Films and European Festivals
Rebecca St. James will be performing at two European events this week. Tonight (20th August) she will be playing on the mainstage at the Flevo Festival in Holland, one of Europe's largest outdoor Christian events. More than 10,000 concert-goers are expected at the festival which features more than 60 international Christian bands and solo artists including Newsboys, Thousand Foot Krutch, Family Force 5, Fee and Parachute Band. On 23rd August Rebecca will be at Salem Konferansesenter, Bergen in Norway.
Following the European appearances, Rebecca returns to the USA for a series of concerts throughout September and October. Next month she also releases her new book 'Loved - Stories of Forgiveness'. Explains Rebecca, "'Loved' is a book about prodigals and for prodigals—which is all of us. God has His arms open wide, waiting for us, no matter what we have done. He wants us to run towards Him, and He will run towards us. This is a message of hope that our generation needs to hear. No matter where you've been and what you've done—you are loved."
Rebecca has also just finished filming a part in her latest film project, 'Rising Stars', shot on location in Dallas, in which she plays the role of a harried celebrity 'personal assistant' complete with demanding clients, deadline headaches and fashionable glasses. However, Rebecca's first starring role in film will reach audiences later this year when the movie, 'Sarah's Choice', releases in the USA on 21st November.
