Superhero Team Up With Palau Association For Major UK Crusade
This Spring, international Christian rock band Superhero, will be touring the UK with evangelist Jose Zayas for what is described as a "one day crusade to towns and cities all over the UK. The primary purpose is to reach the lost with the life changing message of Jesus. Along the way it will encourage the church to be more passionate about reaching this generation. It will be a worship celebration of the grace and love of God."
Superhero regularly play over 100 shows per year, dividing their time between Europe and the USA and have released a handful of critically acclaimed albums including their latest release 'The Bicycle Thieves'. Although a passionate rock band with an incredible live show, their primary purpose is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each year hundreds of people come to faith at their concerts.
Jose Zayas is the former Director of Teen Evangelism for Focus on the Family, and before starting his own ministry, Jose Zayas Evangelism International, he was on staff with the Luis Palau Association.
Jose and Superhero experienced a fruitful ministry partnership when they toured towns and villages in the North of Scotland, where they saw many people accept Jesus for the first time. It was during this period that the seed of an idea was planted. Superhero, Jose and the Luis Palau organization are convinced that the 'Great Commission Tour' is the result of that God inspired idea.
The tour organisers are actively seeking churches and venues to host one of the events on the tour. Interested parties should contact Superhero's management.
Describing the plan for the tour Superhero say, "The evening will be a dynamic, hi-tech, loud presentation and celebration of Jesus. The first part of the evening will be worship lead by Superhero. Jose will preach the gospel and as people respond, we will go into the interval. After the break there will be a full-on gig by Superhero. Along the way there will be a couple of challenges for Christians also. One will be to be part of an amazing weekend of mission and social action. The other will be to sponsor a child in a developing nation."
In addition to Superhero and Jose Zayas, other partners involved in the tour will be Luis Palau Association, Compassion and Ignite.
