This EP is filled with a bunch of amazing songs that are lovely to listen to over and over on repeat. These songs are at times raw and personal, at times they pull on the heart strings of the listener but overall and most importantly they are very honest.

The press release we get for his new EP says that Amanda has made an EP that fits in the 'acoustic pop' genre musical world, but for me the EP isn't really that poppy at all. In the main these are more like songs that are beautifully atmospheric and tender. I'm not too sure I would call it pop as I always think of upbeat pop music, this EP is more of a acoustic songwriter EP.

The biggest draw of this EP has to be the fact these are such emotive and soft-hearted songs. Amanda has this very sweet vocal sound, it has a real hushed quality tone that is dreamy and relaxing and everything in-between. You hear this on all the tracks but you hear this tone and quality in the amazing track "Don't Count Me Out".

Other tracks on the EP well worth a mention are, opening track "17" which has a real cinematic feel to it, you can just imagine this song being used in a big US TV series at a very emotional powerful scene. I loved the song "I See You" which is a piano lead ballad that is truly heavenly. For me personally "Don't Count Me Out" is the standout track of this collection of songs. Also it is well worth mentioning the two versions of the acoustic guitar lead closing track "Quick Fix" which are both stunning.

Rooted in authenticity and spiritual depth, Amanda Nolan’s artistry has made an EP that I'm sure will connect with listeners. Her music is full of her honesty and hope and I hope you can check this new release out when you can.
