Cyndi Aarrestad Releases New Album 'The Name'

May 27 2022

Cyndi Aarrestad, a singer/songwriter living in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada, has followed up her recent EP 'Offerings', with a brand new album titled 'The Name', available now.

Describing the inspiration behind the album, Cyndi says "JESUS. The name above every other name. The name that is so precious, so filled with power and authority, and so life-giving. The songs on this CD focus on this, as well as some of the other names we know Him by. It encourages us to acknowledge and exalt His name and reminds us of the greatness it encompasses."

"I grew up in a Christian family where singing and music were always a part of our home", Cyndi explains. "Music is a huge part of who I am, and I love to create and record songs that speak of my life experiences, capture deep emotions and my love for God. I have written over 2,100 songs, and have made 11 recordings in a friend’s home studio, with my latest 15 recorded at my home.

I have had some recent international radio exposure, including having several songs on the European Country Music charts, and an internet presence on various music sites, and listeners around the world. I believe God has given me a gift to write music, and I am looking to share these songs, wherever He opens up an opportunity. My desire is to honor & glorify Him by sharing what He has given to hopefully encourage and edify the body of Christ."
