Andrew Gonoude Announces New Single 'Always On You'
Andrew Gonoude, an English Christian artist, songwriter and worship leader from West Sussex, UK, is releasing 'Always On You', a song about having resilient faith in God that stands firm. The single is released on 10th July.
"It is a very personal song, and I have learned some hard faith lessons in the last few years. The song describes what it means to stand by the courage of your convictions and not compromise your faith, even if it costs you dearly.
The song echoes the words of men such as Job, Joshua and Moses, with bold declarations that nothing will shake my faith, no matter what happens. So like Job, when battered by terrible circumstances, I refuse to blame God, but instead I look to him even more. He is the God of the Breakthrough. He is my God, my Rock and my Deliverer."
The song is based on Biblical passages such as Job 13:15: "Though he slays me, yet will I trust in him", Exodus 15:2: "The Lord is my strength and my song" and Joshua 24:15: "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.â€
