NCS Collective Release Debut Album 'All Shall Be Well'

Nov 07 2024

NCS Collective is set to release their debut album All Shall Be Well on November 1, 2024, through NRT Music. This album represents a unique fusion of Christian artistry, showcasing a diverse range of genres from modern worship to classic 50's "doo-wop" and Motown.

Since its founding in 2015, Nashville Christian Songwriters (NCS) has been dedicated to empowering songwriters worldwide to craft music that glorifies God. Now, the NCS Collective takes that mission to the next level, bringing together a community of songwriters and featured artists, each contributing their own style and story to this highly anticipated debut.

All Shall Be Well is far from your typical Christian album. Its lineup of featured artists includes both seasoned veterans and rising stars, reflecting the broad reach of the NCS community. From John Chisum, a 40-year music industry veteran, to 22-year-old singer/songwriter Coby James, formerly with Centricity Music, the Collective is a vivid example of how Christian music can transcend age, genre, and tradition.

"We've created a space where everyone--regardless of their background or experience--can share their music and express their faith," said John Chisum, founder of NCS. "This album encapsulates that vision."

The NCS Collective features artists Becca Jordan, Jonathan Cyphers, John Chisum, Jennifer McGill, Coby James, Joey Richey, and Brian and Christa Yakoboski.

The album contains 10 new tracks alongside 4 previously released singles that include "Your Kingdom," "Mighty God," "Inexpressible," and "Finally Home."

On the title track, the words of Jesus in John 16:33 inspire the lyric: "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." Songwriters Bonnie J. Barbey and John Chisum deliver a powerful new ballad to comfort and encourage us all as we endure the trials we face each day. Beautifully sung by Nashville worship leader, Becca Jordan, "All Shall Be Well" is destined to become a song looped over and over by listeners of all types in need of the comfort of its words and the promise of Jesus that He still overcomes the world today.

"To You" is a tender worship ballad celebrating the infinite yet immediate presence of God in our lives, Coby James brings his formidable writing, production, and vocal talents to the table once again to bring our hearts into a posture of worship. Fans of Tomlin, Wickham, and Maher will appreciate the sweetness and vulnerability of this fresh worship song.

And on "You Are the One," Jennifer McGill, a former Mickey Mousketeer, sings this upbeat love song to Jesus. Veteran producer, Sal Oliveri (Pink, Chris Stapleton, Paramore, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood) lends stunning production to undergird the equally stunning vocal performance of McGill to present a thrilling and delightful song of love and praise to Jesus.

NCS Collective is back in the studio preparing to release more new music in 2025 and accompanying music and lyrics videos of the recently released tracks.
