Acclaimed Dove Award-winning and GRAMMY nominated artist Joseph Habedank is stepping into a summer sonic hat tip to the 1980s of his youth with his upcoming single, 'Running to Me,' set to release on June 27 on Daywind Records. A bold blend of heartfelt worship and '80s-inspired pop production, the track marks a creative leap for the seasoned singer-songwriter and promises to be one of the standout anthems of the summer. This release helps kick off Habedank's 28-city Summer Nights tour.



Written by Habedank alongside hitmakers Chuck Butler and Tony Wood, “Running to Me,” resonates with a message of unwavering love and spiritual homecoming, wrapped in an uplifting, synth-infused sound. It’s a song born from rest, reflection, and the unexpected.

“I feel like this song is the anthem of summer,” shares Habedank. “I started writing it while I was on vacation in Florida a few months ago. It felt different than anything I’d written before, so I brought the idea home to Chuck Butler and Tony Wood to help me finish it.”

When Chuck started building the track, it organically turned into this amazing 80’s sound. I was born in that era and my dad introduced me to that sound as a kid, so I’ve always loved it. I hope this song takes people back, but more importantly, reminds them of how much the Father loves His kids,” he continues.
