Regina Vandereijk Releasing Live Unplugged Acoustic Videos of 'Always' and 'Victory (Freedom)' on VEVO
Western North Carolinian Regina Vandereijk is premiering unplugged performances of her songs “Always” and “Victory (Freedom)” exclusively on VEVO . These stripped-back recordings capture the joyful praise and heartfelt worship of Vandereijk’s music, offering viewers a personal encounter.
Filmed at her home church in Gouda, Netherlands, the videos capture the setting where God’s strength has enabled the Vandereijks to serve faithfully in their community.
“Always,” the fifth track off the album The Lord Is There (released January 2025), is inspired by a quote from David Pawson’s book Unlocking the Bible . The song draws from the biblical name “I AM” (YHWH) and includes 17 names of God found in Scripture. It’s a joyful praise declaration of who God has revealed Himself to be. Featured in Vandereijk’s devotional journal The Lord Is There: A Journey Through Scripture in Song . (paperback, officially released October 4, 2025), The song reflects on God’s faithfulness, His eternal reign, and the theme of pilgrimage featured in the Song of Ascent ( Psalm 121 ). This track is suited to congregational praise and offers a different sound in this day and age in Praise and worship.
“Victory (Freedom),” the third track off the EP Love Called Her Home (released September 2024), explores baptism, the finished work of the cross, and identity in Christ. Drawing from Vandereijk’s personal testimony and the teaching of Watchman Nee, the song communicates the transformative power of surrender and freedom in Christ as described in Romans 6:1–12 . The unplugged performance brings raw, worshipful energy, allowing viewers to witness the journey behind the song. This track also appears on both her 14-song devotional journal, The Lord Is There: A Journey Through Scripture in Song , and her 14-song deluxe CD, The Lord Is There . For anyone considering adult baptism, this song encourages the listener to engage on a different level with these Biblical Truths.
“This session is a moment where I wanted to invite viewers into the heart of these songs,” Vandereijk says. “I hope people feel God’s presence and experience freedom to worship Jesus as they watch.”
