Louder Than The Music

The Hillsong Conference 2011 has kicked off today, 5th July 2011, at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in Australia. This year marks the 25th Hillsong Conference and will feature worship from Hillsong United, Jesus Culture and Darlene Zschech, with Brian & Bobbie Houston amongst the speakers.

Over its 25 years, the Hillsong Conference has grown to become the largest conference in Australia. "Hillsong 2011 is our 25th Hillsong Conference and I believe for it to be both a celebration of the many church's teams and individuals who have been impacted by the conference over 25 years", said conference host Brian Houston. "We also want it to be a celebration around the nation of 25 years of Hillsong's influence on the global church. 2011 will be a unique conference for casting our eyes and our vision on the future and believing that this conference will set the path towards even greater influence in years to come!"

Hillsong will release its 20th annual live album 'God Is Able' on 26th July 2011. Recorded during the Hillsong Conference in November 2010 the album features 11 brand new songs including 'Rise' (Joel Houston), 'The Cry of the Broken', (Darlene Zschech) and 'God Is Able' (Reuben Morgan).
