Louder Than The Music

A new live album and full length DVD titled 'Glimpses of Worship' will be released by Kingsway Music on 17th July featuring four worship leaders - Ben Cantelon, Martyn Layzell, Chris McClarney and Aaron Keyes.

The worship leaders each play one of their own and two of someone else's worship songs with styles ranging from the epic (Ben Cantelon's own 'You're The Light') to the intimate (Aaron Keyes' 'Blessing and Honour'), from the urgent (Chris McClarney's cover of 'God Of Our Yesterdays') to the timeless (Martyn Layzell's reworking of 'O Church Arise') - but uniting them all is a sense of the songs themselves have life beyond the CD and DVD. These are songs that take the temperature of the church these days and it's sounding healthy, strong and bold.

As well as a twelve track live CD; 'Glimpses of Worship' comes with a 1 hour 25 minute live DVD filmed on the night. With all the songs included, there's a bonus feature in a New Song Cafe kind of style. Each of the four songwriters shows how they wrote, play and deliver one of their songs.

With other tracks such as 'Jesus You Are Worthy', 'My Soul Is Complete', 'I Stand In Awe' and 'God Of Our Yesterdays', this album and DVD prove that when it comes to looking for authentic, passionate, intimate worship, there's no place like home.
