24-7 'Exit Music' Featuring Songs And Prayer

Jun 30 2009

A new compilation album titled 'Exit Music' will aim to support and promote the global phenomenon that is 24-7 Prayer. Release on 17th July 2009, the album will include songs influenced and related to the Lords Prayer, as well as prayers read out by Pete Grieg (founder of the 24-7 Prayer movement), Martin Smith (Delirious?) and other known individuals who have a heart for the 24/7 ministry.

The tracklisting is still to be confirmed, but is expected to include well known worship classics from artists including Delirious?, Tim Hughes, Chris Tomlin and Hillsong, with tracks such as Everlasting God, How Great Is Our God, Majesty, Mighty To Save, Nothing But The Blood and We Must Go (God Of Justice).

Says Fierce Distribution, "This album offers an intelligent soundtrack for a new type of prayer. Weaving intercession, mission, justice and worship into one, it draws together great worship songs and heart felt prayers from around the world today. Based on 6 sections of the Lords Prayer, the prayers are from various 24-7 led projects around the world and read by recognizable figures from within the mission field."

Since 1999 24-7 Prayer has captured the head and heart of a generation, drawing them in to the crazy idea of praying non-stop, around the world, 24-7-365. Far from falling on its face, the vision has been caught by so many individuals, groups and churches that 24-7 is one of the most influential movements around today.
