Australia's Emma Mullings Releases 'Here And Now'
Australian independent artist and accomplished TV Presenter, Radio Announcer, Actor and Musician, Emma Mullings, has released her 5th single 'Here and Now'.
"'Here and Now' very much tells a story that reflects my own", explains Emma. "A story of someone living broken, lost, and somewhat dysfunctional. Tears and innocence bleeding out, regret and anger as deep as an ocean. That was me.
God came to me in the middle of my mess, in the middle of my dysfunction, when I was 23 years old. I had met Jesus four days earlier at a church meeting, but meeting Jesus doesn’t mean your whole life is going to change in an instant. I was still involved in so many things, and had so many people in my world who were destructive.
What I did have now, though, was HOPE. I hope that when people hear this song, they're reminded that no matter what they are going through, nothing is impossible for God. No one is too messy or too broken. He can meet them right where they are.
I hope is that this song would shift the listener's focus from the problem to the problem solver and that they would be reminded that He is right here and right now."
Emma currently hosts the mornings show on Sydneys HOPE 103.2FM and is a regular on TV screens. Emma’s 2016 debut single SKINNY ROADS went straight to number one on the iTunes Inspirational charts on the day of release, and also spent three weeks at number 1 on the TCM charts. In it’s first week of distribution to Australian radio SKINNY ROADS debuted on the TCM chart @ #18, the highest ever for an Australian artist (becoming one of the most played Christian songs on Australian Christian radio that week). SKINNY ROADS the single remained in the top 30 clocking up and impressive 28 weeks. The SKINNY ROADS Video is also currently getting regular airplay on MTV Australia. In January 2017 it was announced that SKINNY ROADS the single was named the most played song on Christian radio across Australia for 2016, the song has also been nominated for 2016 APRA song of the year.
January 2017 saw SKINNY ROADS the single break into the top 30 on the Billboard Christian Hot AC/CHR chart in the US with the second highest debut of the week at #28.
The follow up single DREAM AGAIN also debut at number 1 on the iTunes Inspiration Charts and moved to number 2 on the Australian Christian Charts. DREAM AGAIN hit number 1 on Australia’s Hot 25 countdown. Emma’s debut 6 track EP titled ‘SKINNY ROADS…THE EP’, was released worldwide on October 25 2016.
Emma’s new single HERE AND NOW was released in JAN 2018 and again debut at number 1 on the iTunes Inspirational Charts.
